World Book Day 2023
All classes enjoyed World Book Day which was held on March 3rd. Eoin Brennan visited Fifth and Sixth classes to speak to them about life as a journalist and sports commentator. John Lee, a local artist and author, visited Second, Third and Fourth class. He showed us his original manuscript and drawings and read his book “This Thing called Up”. Catherine and Aoife from Ennis Library visited Junior and Senior Infants. They explained how to become a member of the library and they read two stories. They also brought some books for the children to read. 📚📖 Everyone really enjoyed the visits.
