SKYPE with U.S.A.

The students council had a wonderful SKYPE session with Ashley River Primary School in Charleston South Carolina U.S.A. on Thursday this week.

We have previously SKYPED regarding our STEAM initiatives but this time the  council had questions prepared regarding the Christmas traditions and culture that take place in America.

Each group asked each other about traditions such as Thanksgiving,  what their school day, entails and what they eat for Christmas etc.

We used our IPad and reflector teacher to SKYPE for this session so we could move easily around the room to chat.

We wished all the children a very Happy Christmas as Gaeilge.
