Plaque of Stem 2019

Clarecastle National School was awarded the Plaque of Stem 2019 from the Science Foundation of Ireland.

This award is given to schools where a whole school effort has been made to engage with science, technology, engineering and maths.

It would not have been possible without the support of parents who gave up their valuable free time to come and give a presentation or do a workshop with the children based on STEM.

Sincere thanks also to Roche Ireland for their fantastic support and generosity and also to our amazing Parents Association. With this funding we have been able to buy 2 banks of iPads along with beebots, sphero, lego we do kits and microbits.
