Green School Greeting
Hello everybody.
On behalf of the Green School Committee I would like to wish all the students in Clarecastle N.S. a safe and enjoyable summer break.
Unfortunately, due to school closures we did not get to complete many of our proposed projects and workshops planned for the end of this year. Hopefully, we will be able to address some of them upon our return in September.
It was wonderful to see that Clarecastle Tidy Towns held their ‘Spring Clean’ recently. They reported a great response in volunteers and notable litter-free zones in the village. This is terrific news and hopefully the trend will continue throughout the summer months. Keep up the good work!
I would like to thank the 6th class students, Thehan Jayasinghe, Sofia Zareva and Anna Finucane for serving on the Green School Committee this year. They showed great interest and enthusiasm and I am sure they will continue to develop their environmental awareness as they progress in life.
