Creative Writing Inspiration Term 1
During the year, we had wonderful creative writing sessions. Often our inspiration for our poetry and stories came from our families and all the things we hold closest to our hearts! On this occasion, we brought in our most treasured teddies, dolls and furry friends. Everyone loved introducing and showcasing their cuddly friends! It was so much easier to write when we had the actual subject in front of us. We concentrated on sentences about colour, texture, size, emotions and lots more. One of our teddies was even designed and handmade by a very much loved Granny! It was a real honour to meet all these special teddies who mean so much to all the girls and boys.
