The Toyshop

This week the children began Aistear. Aistear is the early childhood curriculum framework for all children from birth to 6 years in Ireland. The framework uses interconnected themes to describe children’s learning and development.This month the children explored the theme of The Toyshop.

They used construction toys to build a toy, they developed their oral language by staging a puppet show, they sorted indoor and outdoor toys and finally they played in The Toyshop. Everyone wanted to be the shop keeper 🙂
